Showcase underrepresented local and travelling Film/Videomakers

We host travelling artists in locations appropriate to the material they screen. If you are planning a tour and would like to schedule a screening with us, please email us or send us a postcard.

In an effort to keep it real, we also host an regular open screening called Cinemus Publicus and an annual film festival called Experiements in Cinema, both of of which showcase the most indie and underground movies in the world.

Performance and Projection for Hire

We perform projected experiments using 16mm handmade and found footage loops where the projector is the primary creative tool.

We also work for hire doing ambient projection for openings, parties, and other events. Contact us with specific questions or prices and information on the services included for your event.

The Archive

We oversee a collection of about 7000 small gauge films, housed at the Harwood Arts Center at 1114 7th St. NW in Albuquerque. The principle portion of the collection was donated by the Albuquerque Public School System. This collection is available for viewing and rental to the public. We also can transfer any of our small gauge film to video for any project that may require found footage. Please be in contact with more specific questions about what we have available and how to access it.
